GOSU Dictionary

So you've browsed the forums, gone to meetings, or just poked around the site, and found a word or acronym you don't know, but you don't want to ask what it means for fear of being "that guy". Well, you're at the right place, as we'll try to post every sketchy word we use and its meaning(s). Now we can all be on the same page AND use shnazzy buzzwords!

Chobo
The opposite of gosu.
CS
Counter Strike. A popular shooter game
CTF
Capture the Flag Gametype. Each team has a flag and tries to steal the other team's...simple
DM
Death Match Gametype. A free for all with no teams, person with the most kills wins.
FPS
1. First Person Shooter genre. Known for fast paced action and....shooting.
2. Frames per Second. Your proverbial "size" *wink,wink* amongst gamers.
Frag
A kill.
Gosu
Korean meaning "skilled" or "high level". Coincidentally, an acronym for Gamers of OSU. Pretty neat, huh?
Gundam da
Literally "It's a gundam", used more like "we're 0wn3d".
GW
Guild Wars, a MMO officers were addicted to.
IMO

LAN
Local Area Network. A collection of computers connected together to play games (why else would you connect computers?)
LJS
Long John Silvers, that heavenly place where you can eat fish and talk like a pirate, which you should do often.
MMO
Massive Multiplayer Online, a game that has its entire content based around multplayer.
QFT
Quoted For Truth
TDM
Team Death Match Gametype. Like DM but with teams...wow.
TES:IV Oblivion
1) "It steals your soul, but in a good way."
2) Single-player RPG that some members were addicted to.

Adj. 1) Leggo my Eggo... 2)a spin-off of Roffles, meaning rolling on the floor laughing.
