LAN on the 30th
January 27, 10:48 | Hogosha | news
As the title states, there is a LAN this weekend. First of the semester. Unfortunately it will be in the Caucus Room.
Also, note that there is a bad storm coming this way. They are talking an inch of ice and an inch of snow. I will keep my eye on the weather and road conditions.
Look to this page before leaving your place on Saturday morning, the LAN could be cancelled due to weather.
Radio GOSU
January 22, 09:55 | Hogosha | news
For all those who have been missing the Radio, it is back. The ninjas have taken care of those who sought to thwart us. All is well. Continue as you were.
Look Who's Back
January 15, 08:22 | Hogosha | news
Well the semester is up and rolling again. We need a time for meetings. If you plan on coming to meetings (and i hope you do, there are changes coming) Check out this thread here http://www.osugamers.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2841 .
As mentioned before, there are changes coming. Companies are offering us free merchandise if we expand to table top gaming as well. Most of our members already play. There is a thread in the Pilot's Lounge to discuss this. Speak up.

Server Was Down
December 14, 14:16 | Hogosha | news
So the server got a restart and no one told us. When the server restarts the radio is down and when that happens a lot of funky things happen to the interface. That is all taken care of now. It did give me a chance to use my XP Virtual machine in Windows 7 pro cause OSU does not offer the 64bit version of the Cisco VPN client. Cause 64bit is just a fad ya know. There is nothing to this whole data and computer thing...
Lan on the 21st
November 17, 11:32 | Hogosha | news
The last LAN of the semester is coming. This one shall be held in the caucus room on the 4th floor of the Student Union. As always the price is $5 at the door.
The Games to be played are "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" and "Left 4 Dead 2." I am sure that the standard game of Team Fortress 2 will also be played. If there is anything else you want to play post it in the forums or ask at the LAN.
Just as a reminder, these forums are not closed. We just have to take precautions against spam bots. To join send an e-mail to SEIGINOHOGOSHA at GMAIL dot COM. I will let anyone in as long as you are human or any other non robotic life form. Remember, just say no to Skynet.
Important MEeting
November 16, 12:53 | Hogosha | news
Just a reminder that we are having an important guest at tonight's meeting and that i would like a decent turnout. Also we will be discussing what games are on the docket for the next LAN.
That is all.

Meeting Time Move
November 3, 10:56 | hans | news
From the sound of things we need to make an adjustment to out meeting times, and the new time thrown out most often has been 6:15 Monday, Business Building room 109.
It's just 45 minutes earlier, but it sounds like this will help some people make meetings more often.
So, sound good to you? Post about it either way in the forums (it's somewhere under scheduling).
Halloween LAN
October 26, 01:23 | hans | news
Well, not really a LAN in the traditional sense, but we will be doing plenty of gaming up in the Exhibit room, 4th floor of the Student Union this Saturday.
I'm sure We'll be playing Street Fighter 4, and probably some Marvel vs. Capcom 2. Really, bring whatever you want and I'm sure we'll work it in.
I think we'll get started around 10:30 a.m. and run until about 5:30 p.m. Or something like that. We'll play it by ear.
I'm sure we'll due a SF4 tournament at some point, so I'll set the sign up deadline at 1:30 p.m. (unless you contact me with a reason to bump it back). I think I can dig up a couple prizes for first and second place too, so make sure to stop by.
No charge this time around too, so if you want something to do before the evening festivities come check us out.
LAN on the 10th
October 8, 10:09 | Hogosha | news
Well we have a LAN this weekend. Not only that but it is not on a Game Day. They did eventually get us moved out of the Exhibit rooms, we are now in the Sequoya room, 2nd Floor, room 280.
We are looking at playing:
Day of Defeat Source
Team Fortress 2
Left 4 Dead
Counter Strike Source (maybe)
This LAN will end by 6PM due to Fall Break and Union Hours
Check it out.
Also, as always, this forum is still closed due to bots. If you want in send an e-mail to:

First LAN over, also meetings
September 25, 13:02 | hans | news
Hey, a little late, but I thought I'd give an update on how our first LAN went.
Decent attendance, especially since we didn't really advertise, and good times were had (at least by everyone else or when my box wasn't freezing up).
I think it was a good test run for the semester and hopefully the next one will be even better.
Now about the meetings: we have them. You should come. It's kind of hard for me (and the other officers) to be motivated to really do anything if no one else shows up.
I actually even had something resembling (srs) business to talk about at this one regarding an event we could do to get us more exposure on campus.
I needed to get more info on it it turns out (Student Union theater is free to use, but everything you can do in it costs a ton), but I think I've got stuff figured out, so we should get to planning stuff.
LAn Today
September 19, 11:02 | Hogosha | news
We have a LAN today. Student union. 4th Floor. Exhibit rooms. Yes there is a game today so if you are getting here go ahead and park in the half circle in front of the union and bring your stuff up and then park; we can give you advice when you get here. If you are reading this and mention that you actually read this i will give you a discount to the LAN for the parking inconvenience. Have a nice day,

LANs a Commin
September 9, 09:22 | Hogosha | news
That is right, we have a LAN next Saturday! (the 19th) It is not going to be big since we have not done any formal advertising but it will be a way to kick off the gaming year. Bring your friends, bring your family, just be sure to bring your rig.
As always,
GL, HV, DD.
Regestration Woes
August 30, 00:06 | Hogosha | news
Some of you out there on the Internets have been trying and trying to get into the GOSU gates and have been stopped short. This is on purpose, we are trying to stop the spammers. We tend to get a lot of them around here. So if you are a legitimate human being, or something that passes as such on ocassion, send me an e-mail and I will get you in. If you prove your self worthy I might even get you into the VIP lounge.

Restart and GO!
August 27, 10:02 | Hogosha | news
Well the server had a restart; there was a power outage in the Math Sciences building. This means that the radio was down which means half of the options on the main page were gone. This is now taken care of, please continue trolling as usual.
Fall '09: Fall Harder
August 19, 20:34 | hans | news
So classes have started again. Bad for free time, but great for us (because we're allowed to function again)!
Anyway, meetings will be Monday nights at 7:00 in Business building room 109 starting next week.
We should have details for the LAN dates at the meeting, but I'm sure we'll post them on here too as soon as they are set in stone.
Hope to see you at the meetings.
P.S. - If that meeting time doesn't work for you hit up the forums. We might be able to work something out, or you can at least keep up with GOSU and our various shenanigans.
They Can't Keep Us Down
June 3, 14:04 | Hogosha | news
Well they tried to kill the power supply in the server and that did not stop us. Now they tried to change security and ip schemes and we are still here. So we are back up and ready to talk about gaming, so if you read these boards and don't post, well post. If you have not posted in a long time, go for it. We want to hear from you. Just one rule, no yiffing.

Some of you may have noticed the recent outage. Our server decided to go though (another) power supply and getting things done on campus during the summer can take a while. Everything should be hunky-dori now, though, so please accept our sincerest apologies for the lack of service.

April 19, 02:53 | hans | news
The final LAN of the Spring is over.
We had 19 people on LAN in the PC section (thanks in large part to 5][, thanks guys!) and an 8 man Street Fighter 4 tournament. Speaking of which, congrats to Taylor, who convincingly worked everyone over with E. Honda. We promise we'll have better prizes next time (or a cash tourney if more people show up).
Other than throwing fuses because they usually don't even mention the Oklahoma room as an option for us (good room for a LAN actually, just reserved for dinners and whatnot), it was a great LAN, definitely the best of the semester.
We might do something small over the summer, or at least some SF4 at some point, but no more official business until August.
We're still around, so check the forums for what's up, and I'll make sure to post here with any big news or event updates.
Oh, and Ryan/Darkness is graduating, so if you see him make sure to thank/blame him for his services as an officer the last couple years.
LAN
April 18, 17:38 | Hogosha | news
The last LAN of the semester is going strong with an estimated twenty attendees. The Street Fighter Tournament had/has 8 participants. We are still going strong if anyone wants to jump in at this point.
In any case, Good Luck, Have Fun, and Don't Die.
AFAP Appeal
April 16, 16:17 | Hogosha | news
Well the meeting has come and gone.
The money they gave us was for 2 games and Drinks
They don't like giving us money due to low membership, we don't have high membership cause we don't have an advertising budget and are running on old spare parts. There is an inherent loop here.
I took the time to tell them this with the utility minority standing behind me. hopefully they will get the point. I mean we have to be more relevant than the paper club and the short story club (these are real organizations people, neither of which want to be printed, they just write stuff)
Hopefully the last LAN will have high enough numbers to show what we do is more than just the 6 members we have. I did tell them that but they did not seem to care since we did not have the numbers down. Hopefully we can take a good account of people at this LAN to present next year.
Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die.
LOCATION CHANGE
April 15, 14:51 | hans | news
They accidentally double booked the Exhibit room, but they moved us to the (much nicer) Oklahoma room on the second floor.
All other details the same though.
April 18 LAN
April 6, 14:31 | hans | news
The date for the last LAN of the semester has been set. April 18 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. in Exhibit Room 2, 4th floor Student Union.
Looks like more TF2, Left 4 Dead, and whatever else you want to play.
Also, we're trying to put together a Street Fighter 4 tournament, so if you have a stick or fight pad, let us know. There are copies of the game on both 360 and PS3 floating around GOSU, so either is fine. We might end up just using standard PS3 controllers if we can't come up with anything else though. So if you know anyone looking for SF4 action, tell them to stop by the forums or our meeting Thursday night at 5:30.
LAN is still on
March 28, 08:41 | hans | news
The weather is still crappy, but I don't think it will be too hard to get to the union, so the LAN is on.
If you're driving in from out of town or have a long drive afterward and are worried about roads icing over tonight feel free to skip. It's not worth getting in a wreck for a LAN we barely promoted.
We should be getting set up by 10:00 a.m. as planned, so hopefully we'll see some of you there.
OMG NEWS LOOK!
March 27, 14:54 | hans | news
Hey, in case you hadn't noticed, the weather looks kind of iffy right now.
The LAN is still on for now, but if it starts looking worse we'll just call it off, so make sure you check the site before you head out tomorrow.
We'll make the call by 8:30 or 9:00 in the morning, so just check back before you pack up.
March LAN and other news
February 26, 18:42 | hans | news
Our next LAN of the year will be on March 28 in Exhibit Room, 4th floor Student Union (like usual) and we (should) start at about 10:00 a.m. and go until about 11:00 p.m. $5 at the door with PC, or $10 semester dues (which gets you into all semester LANs for the price of two!).
We'll be playing Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead, Call of Duty World at War, and etc. Really, we'll play whatever (Flatout 2!) if you can talk us into it. You guys know the drill.
I'd be down for a Street Fighter 4 tourney if enough people are interested, but if you want something else also or instead post in the forums.
As noted below, our meeting times are now Thursdays at around 5:15 (because several people are on campus then already) in Business building room 109 (next to the pop machines).
Lastly, we might actually get funding from SGA this year, so stay tuned for good news/an angry rant about how they got my hopes up.
Meeting Update
February 18, 14:32 | Darkness | news
Weekly meetings are now on Thursday at ~5:15-30 (depends on when we can get in the room) in room 109 of the business building.
P.S. Lan is Saturday the 21st.

February 6, 11:38 | Darkness | news
Our next LAN of the year will be on February 21 in Exhibit Room, 4th floor Student Union (like usual) and we (should) start at about 10:00 a.m. and go until about 11:00 p.m.
Currently, we are not planning on bringing any of our own consoles, as it's a hassle and lately they have gotten little to no play. If you object to this, please post in our forums and we'll try and see what we can do.
Also, we have a weekly meetings tentatively in Business 123 at 6:30 on Fridays. Be there if you aren't feeling too lazy one night.
NEWS EVERYONE!
January 21, 04:20 | hans | news
We have a LAN this Saturday!
I though I asked for the next week, but I guess not. Good thing I looked at the room reservation. Anyway, nothing new has come out, so I'll just print up a few posters advertising the LAN and our first meeting on Friday and hope for the best.
We should be able to host four this semester though. The room I asked for on the last date was taken, but if we need to I can probably get the Caucus room.
SSDD: Team Fortress 2, Call of Duty: WaW, Left 4 Dead, and whatever else. Exhibit room, 4th floor Student Union, 10:00 am (ish) on Saturday, January 24.
Also, will anyone be coming for console stuff? I'm getting tired of hauling it out then only having someone play four songs on Rock Band while waiting for people to get back from dinner. If you want it, cool, but I'm lazy and it makes me bring twice as much crap.
Anyway, post any questions/comments in the forums.

Also, if you're still having trouble posting after registering, email me at hans_wuerflein@hotmail.com

We'll be playing Call of Duty 4, Team Fortress 2, Unreal Tournament 3, some form of Quake (3, 4, Live, whatever), and I'm sure Warcraft 3, but mainly for DotA or Tower D. Really, we'll play whatever (Flatout 2!) if you can talk us into it. You guys know the drill.
I'm sure there will be consoles present, but we haven't worked out what exactly yet, so get on the forums and let us know what you want.

GG Spring Semester

Well, the last LAN of the year is done. Good turnout, good times, hope to see you next fall.
I'll post (potential) dates for fall in the forums as soon as I know them.
Also, the possibility of a summer LAN has been kicked around, but I'm to busy/tired to give a crap right now, so in a few weeks I'll start a thread in the forums to see when/if enough people can get together for one, or if we just want to meet up at Quakecon and call it good.
Thanks for your support!

At this point I'm planning on bringing my 360 and Rock Band. Want something else, also or instead? Post in the forums.

SheLANigans: Child's Play Edition
November 28, 00:37 | hans | news
That's right, our last LAN of the semester will also be a charity event for Child's Play.
Saturday, December 1 will be our last LAN party until (hopefully) January and, the officers felt it would be a good idea to take the proceeds from this event and donate them to Child's Play. Details below.
What? - A LAN party hosted by the Gamers of OSU with all precedes going directly to Child's Play.
Where? - Exhibit Room 2, 4th floor Student Union
When? - December 1, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Why? - Because we don't hate sick children (unlike those think they have something better to do that day)
How Much? - $10 at the door (all going to Child's Play)
What Games? - Team Fortress 2, Unreal Tournament 3, Call of Duty 4, Guitar Hero 3, Rock Band (possibly), and whatever else you can talk the group into (NO WoW!!!)
What to bring? - Your PC, monitor, keyboard, mouse, headphones (no speakers), and/or any console stuff you want to play.
About Child's Play (from the official site) -
Since 2003, over 100,000 gamers worldwide have banded together through Child’s Play, a community based charity grown and nurtured from the game culture and industry. Over two million dollars in donations of toys, games, books and cash for sick kids in children’s hospitals across North America and the world have been collected since our inception.
This year, we have continued expanding across the country and the globe. With over 45 partner hospitals and more arriving every month, you can be sure to find one from the map above that needs your help! You can choose to purchase requested items from their online retailer wish lists, or make a cash donation that helps out Child’s Play hospitals everywhere. Any items purchased through Amazon will be shipped directly to your hospital of choice, so please be sure to select their shipping address rather than your own.
When gamers give back, it makes a difference!
ZOMG LAN!!!!!!11!!11!1!1!!
October 18, 12:06 | Darkness | news
Our next LAN is already only about 2 and a half weeks away!
Still in (X-to-tha-Z) Exhibit Room 2, 4th floor Student Union from around 10 AM until 11 PM.
We plan on at least playing TF2, Quakewars, and UT3 demo.
Post your ideas for what games/tournaments we should host in the forums.
More details soon.
More LAN info
October 10, 11:29 | hans | news
Well, not alot more. More confirmation than anything.
Sat. Oct. 13, Exhibit Room 2, 4th floor Student Union, 10 AM-11 PM, $5 at the door BYOC (OR $10 semester dues, talk to Ryan).
Team Fortress 2 is a lock and if we have enough people hopefully we'll get a good tournament going.
Quake Wars is out (and awesome!), but I'm not sure how many people have picked it up yet. We'll definitely play it if we can get at least 5-man-teams going (or just have everyone join some pub server).
There's always a good chance of older stuff too, like CS: Source (gungame especially), Warcraft 3 (DotA, Tower D, etc.), or really just about anything. If you can talk the group into a few rounds of it we probably have to game, so come out and play whatever. (No WoW though, seriously, GTFO.)
As far as consoles go, there will be Super Smash Bros. Melee (and a few other random cube games) and a 360 running just about whatever (bring your own copy/controllers if you want to make sure whatever game you're into happens, I don't have much good multiplayer 360 stuff yet).
We didn't do nearly enough promotion for this one (my bad) so spread the word as best you can.
Oh, and SHOW UP THIS TIME!
Oct. 13 LAN!!!
October 3, 00:31 | hans | news
Our next LAN is already only about a week and a half away!
Still in (X-to-tha-Z) Exhibit Room 2, 4th floor Student Union from around 10 AM until 11 PM.
By then both ET: Quake Wars and Orange Box will be out, so those are safe bets.
Post your ideas for what games/tournaments we should host in the forums.
More details soon.

September 12, 11:13 | Darkness | news
We have a LAN coming up on the 22nd of Sept. You guys fairly well know the drill...
The Gamers of OSU present "Shelanigans" beginning Saturday, September 22th at 10:00 a.m and running until ~11pm. Shelanigans will be held in Exhibit Room 2 located on the 4th floor of the Student Union on OSU's campus located in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Shelanigans is the premiere PC and Console gaming event at OSU. There will be a BYOC (bring your own computer) LAN for PC gaming as well as multiple consoles present.
Featured tournaments at this event are TBA. Check LAN Forum Thread for the most up-to-date information.
At Shelanigans we'll be playing current PC titles such as QuakeWars, Quake 4, Counter-Strike: Source, Half Life 2 Deathmatch, Unreal Tournament 2k4, and much more.
For the BYOC lan please bring your rig and headphones only. No speakers, no outside network cables. Power strips will be provided for the event. Please be sure to update your Steam install before the lan!

Further and possibly more up-to-date information can be found here.
Activities Mart Tomorrow
September 5, 16:18 | hans | news
We'll have a table at the Activities Mart on the Library lawn tomorrow from 11:00 - 2:00 (or at least as long as we have someone available to sit at it anyway).
Not quite Lawn Con, but it'll do for now (from a promotion standpoint anyway).
Stop by and grab a flier or something.
LAWN CON POSTPWNED
August 28, 20:59 | hans | news
Due to scheduling conflicts (and the still questionable status of a tent, TVs, etc.) Lawn Con will be put off for a few weeks. We still plan on hosting one this fall, but we would much rather throw a good one when we're better prepared.
Also it might not be 110 degrees outside by then (whenever then may be).
I'll try to keep you updated.

Server Downtime
May 25, 19:53 | Darkness | news
For some reason Gosu-Web went down on Thursday, probably related to the storm we had in Stillwater. Anyways, as you can tell it's back up and everything appears to be working.
If anything isn't functioning like it did before the unexpected downtime, please post it in this thread
Summer and GOSU
April 24, 16:56 | Darkness | news
Well, summer is upon us. Which means no more LANs or meetings until next semester. So, enjoy the summer and we'll see you next Semester for some LANing.
As far as other Summer activities, a few of us have a Pen & Paper RPG game going, if you're interested please contact either Raikou, Darkness, or Hogosha on the forums.
Last LAN of this Semester
April 13, 14:41 | hans | news
Our last spring LAN will be held on April 21 in Parker Hall's basement. The event will get started around 10:00 AM and run about as late as people are willing to stick around. The Student Union might be cheaper, but not having to be out by midnight is nice.
Anyway, it looks like we'll be playing Quake 4 (1.4.1 patch), S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, Virtua Fighter 5 (OMG, someone bought a PS3?), Garry's Mod, CS: Source/Gun Game, and I'm sure someone will start up Warcraft 3: DOTA or Tower D wheather we like it or not. There will be other consoles and games present, possibly even a Wii (!), but I'm not sure what games, so you'll just have to show up and find out.
$5 at the door with PC (monitor, tower, etc., NO SPEAKERS).
Show up and game. This is the your last chance for an on campus LAN until fall.
Post in the forums if you have any questions, or if that doesn't work, email me at hans_wuerflein@hotmail.com .
Microsoft to Present About XNA Video Game Programming Language.
April 2, 23:05 | Darkness | news
That's right. Microsoft is doing their Vista and Office 2007 Launch this week, and they have decided to give us a presentation about the new XNA video game programming language, a free toolset and runtime environment for PC development and subscription fee for XBox 360 development.
We also are partnering with the "DevSociety" a group that has formed for the Game Development (and Design) class that will be launching in Spring 2008.
Of course, we are opening this to anyone who wants to attend, so here's the info...
When: Wednesday, April 4th at 4:00 PM
Where: Classroom Building, Second Floor, Room 213
I encourage everyone to come, and if you know anyone that might be interested, let them know about this. This should be a very good presentation, even if you are not that into programming.

March 8, 19:59 | hans | news
Well, the February LAN went well, but now it's time to start planning the next one.
We will be hosting our next LAN on March 31 in the Caucus room on the 4th floor of the Student Union.
As for what games will be played, it sounds like we'll be doing a mix of old and new. Some War 3 DotA, Quake 4, and possibly even S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (!)
Post in the forums if you have any questions or suggestions. See you there!
Shelanigans February 2007

We have just opened registration for the LAN!

Tournaments include a Starcraft 1v1 and a Warcraft 3 FFA.
Old School LAN.
February 9, 13:56 | Darkness | news
Well, we have decided to take our next LAN (Feb 24th) back in time. No, we don't have a DeLorean nor do we have a flux capacitor. However, we are just going to rock out on some old school games. Some details are still TBA, like tournies and which games exactly we will plan to play, but just know that some of you with laptops or not-so-great-for-gaming rigs will not be impeded by some game's requirements, unless your machine is extremely old... then well I guess you can go play pong or something, and yes, may do a 1v1 pong tourney (not sure yet)
Register Ya Heathens!
January 20, 21:10 | Darkness | news
Registration is up for the Jan 27th LAN Click Here
The LAN will occur roughly from 10 AM to 11 PM in the OSU Student Union on the 4th Floor in Exhibit Room 1.
The Gamers of Oklahoma State University will be hosting SheLANigans, our first LAN party of the semester.
There's a $5 charge at the door if you bring a PC (tower, monitor, keyboard, mouse, headphones (no speakers), and various power cables and whatnot). there will also be some console gaming, such as Guitar Hero 2, but as usual we will be more focused on PC gaming.
Unfortunately, there are no tournaments put into place yet... but as usual we will be playing Quake 4, Battlefield 2142, CS: Source, Team Fortress Classic, and others.
Also, Dues are due for members. They are $10. And Starting this semester Darkness is the treasurer.
Meeting for Jan. 17 is off!!!
January 16, 23:50 | hans | news
Due to weather and other issues, the meeting is off. We still need to figure out details of a table in the union for promotion and I'm working on posters, but most stuff is already in place for the January 27 LAN (Exhibit Room 1, 4th floor Student Union).
If you have any questions, post in the forums. If you can't post in the forms, email someone. If you can't email any of us, um, facebook? I really don't know what else to tell you. Quit failing at computers.
Meetings for the Spring Semester
January 9, 23:40 | hans | news
Welcome back everyone!
Now that we (hopefully) have our server issues addressed for now we can get back to business (and by business I mean games, lol).
Meetings will again be held Wednesday evenings at 6:30 in Kerr-Drummond Mezzanine. If for some reason that time/date/location doesn't really work for you, post about it in the forums and we'll see what we can do.
Our first LAN of the year will be on January 27 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM in Exhibit Room 1 on the 4th floor of the student union. Further info will be posted as it becomes available, but it's just about understood that at least Quake 4 and Battlefield 2142 will be present.
Server back up
January 9, 15:05 | Darkness | news
Well, the server is back up and hopefully will stay that way. We had some problems with the SMTP server becoming a spam magnet for spam relays. Also, Hogosha and I ended up replacing the PSU. It seems that the fan on the PSU had died causing it to overheat. Anyways, hopefully everything is fully operational.
If you discover something that was working but isn't know please make a post Here

I'll be graduating here soon (in less than a week), and as you may know our constitution states only OSU students may be officers. So we'll need a new treasurer starting next semester. If you are an OSU student between the ages of 18 and 180, can do basic arithmetic, and most importantly have some semblance of ethics then either pm me on the boards or shoot me an email here.
If there are no takers by the start of next semester then it will likely be rolled into VP's job. This scares me- as Darkness is known for his abuse of power (especially where caffeine is involved). The antics that we will endure when he gets monetary responsibility might move into "infamous" status.

Semester End Approaching
December 3, 19:52 | Darkness | news
On Dec 2, we had our last LAN of the semester. Although there was still some bad weather, 8 young souls braved the arctic north. Fighting off bears and other snow land creatures to finally arrive at the Student Union, a source of much pwnage. We had a special Q4 2v2 CTF, 3 teams and Hogosha. Hogosha got to join the team opposing the undefeated team in the final, but however 5][Havik and 5][Rizion won.
GOSU will not be having any more meetings or events until next semester. The next LAN is still TBA, but will most likely be late January or early February. We hope to see all of you then...
----End of Transmission----

November 22, 15:02 | Darkness | news
Ok, with Thanksgiving being on a Thursday this year, we have decided to cancel the meeting tonight (Nov. 22) Everyone enjoy the small, but necessary break and we'll see you all on December 2nd for the LAN.
December 2nd LAN registration is here. We will be in the Exhibit Room 2, the bigger half.
Tournaments and special events are still sketchy, and will be posted as they are decided. If you have a suggestion, drop a thought in this thread

Despite numerous small hitches and do-funnies ShaLANigans November was a pretty slick LAN. Thanks to all those that attended; hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
But we're not through yet! (the title told you so)
We got another LAN December 2nd, registration is here. The only difference this time is we will only have 1 partition of the room we were in last time (there should still be plenty of space for all)
Tournaments and special events are still sketchy, and will be posted as they are decided. If you have a suggestion, drop a thought in this thread

WTF LAN?!?!
September 29, 19:35 | hans | news
Yeah, last minute, but the LAN tomorrow has been moved to October 14. There was some miscommunication, mainly on our end, with the location's owner. We got everything worked out and it's back on, but two weeks later. Sorry for the inconvenience.
At least now we have time to do some on campus advertising.
Again, NO LAN TOMORROW!!!
The President is dead. Long live the President.
September 28, 00:06 | hans | news
Well, failure graduated so it looks like I'm your new President. You'll have to bear with me as I learn the ropes, but I promise that barring nuclear war, we will have a LAN once a month. Probably.
Anyway, September's LAN (yes, we're still doing one this month) will be on September 30 at Knight's Arms in Cimarron Plaza in Stillwater, OK. Games featured will include Quake 4, Battlefield 1942, Half Life: DM, Battlefield 2, Call of Duty 2, Company of Heroes, UT2K4, F.E.A.R., and more. August 30, 23:08 | failure | news
Class is back in session and I imagine a few of you are even going this semester. Well, I'm not, I managed to graduate. Regardless, I'm here to tell you that GOSU is back for another semester of lanning it up in Stillwater. My graduation leaves no heir apparent however, so things may be a little shaky for a bit. I assure you that they will get settled. I will act as an advisor to GOSU even if I can no longer serve as your president. Raikou is here to run the treasury for at least one more semester before he manages to get out as well.
I'll say this: It's been a good run. GOSU started as a faint dream of something bigger than myself way back in 2002. It has come a long way. I know how cliché it all sounds but it really seems like yesterday I was standing in Blayne's office trying to explain what the hell a "gaming organization" would do. I was certain that no one on campus would take this seriously.
A few of us managed to take it seriously.
I thank all of you that have helped make GOSU something bigger than any of us. Thank you for coming to the lans. Thank you for coming to the meetings. Thank you for posting rants on the forums and linking the latest YTMNDs. Thanks GOSU, thanks for playing games.
That all being said, I look forward to another great year with this organization. Meetings will resume next week once we decide on logistics. Hit the thread in the forums if you actually care. Hopefully we'll have a lan worked out for September.
semester ending. failure graduating. woo.
April 23, 22:33 | failure | news
Thanks to everyone who showed up for the final Shelanigans of the spring semester. It was a harrowing two day event in which a surprising amount of console gaming happened. Welcome to the recent stagnation of the PC game market. All in all, I think we all managed to have some fun.
Now, that being done I'm going to go crawl into a hole for the next 2 weeks and try to emerge a graduate of OSU. Sort of like a caterpillar turning into a butterfly, except that I'll be substantially more employable, and I won't get totally sweet wings. Damn.
No more meetings this semester. Yes we will still be eating wings on Tuesday. Show up at my place at 7:00 on Tuesday. I'm talking to you guys, the usuals. If you'll be around in the Stillwater area during the summer, keep in contact via the arcane technologies employed by this site, or the more mundane telephone system. If you're looking to game, well, that's what we'll be doing.

Our next event is this Friday. It's our last one for the semester and it's going to be a good one. It starts Friday night at 6pm and will go until Saturday around midnight or until everyone feels like they've had enough. Anyways, it's in the Parker Hall basement, easy to find, and plenty of room. Go read the forum post under events on the sidebar.

Oblivion and whatnot
March 23, 12:29 | failure | news
Well Oblivion is finally out, and taking up a lot of time around the globe I imagine. A bunch of us in GOSU are all playing it, and it's pretty marvelous I suppose. If you're into that RPG thing I recommend you check it out.
In other news the March 25th lan has been cancelled. There wasn't much work done on it so no major loss. Hopefully we'll have something in April.
Haha, we got an article written about us.
February 20, 16:38 | failure | news
Well, isn't that nice.
It's been approximately 22 months since we last had a full article written about us in The Daily O'Collegian. The last one, if you're an old enough member to remember, was rife with misquotes and general "I didn't pay attention to anything you guys said"-ness.
This one wasn't too bad however. I'll not post my opinions of the content here, I'll only say that it's nice to see some publicity that didn't involve me chalking or fliering campus.
February's Shelanigans went off smoothly with only one breaker thrown (the same one we tripped last time, awesome). Tournaments were all completed in a timely fashion. Congratulations to gosu.Darkness for triumphing over your humble president in the final 1v1 round of the Call of Duty 2 tournament. 5][Havik and gosu.skylar managed to take top spot in the Jedi Academy 2v2. Beaten in all other tournaments I managed to rally a button-mashing comeback in Dead or Alive 4. God I love fighting game tournaments.
Thanks to everyone who managed to get out Saturday and hit up Stillwater's only lan. Those of you who didn't, shame on you. You'll have to make the next one.
To those of you who are undoubtedly hitting the site for the first time as a result of the article today, "Howdy". Take a look around and don't let the forums scare you.

You will now witness the firepower of this fully armed and operational game server
February 1, 11:40 | failure | news
It's done. The new GOSU game server that we worked for last semester is finally here. We're still poking and prodding around on it at GOSU House like it's some mythical beast caged for the first time. None of us put our hands near it, for fear of what might happen.
It destroys bench marks like a mythical beast.
The Athlon X2 4400+ Toledo we chose for the server handles multiple programs with the kind of dexterity and skill last seen in mages fending off the gank on Darktide. I was running SuperPI and Prime95 on it at the same time earlier, both in torture modes and the two combined didn't put it a dent in the 4 gigs of ram. The system was suprisingly useable in that state. And actually, it's completely usable while running Prime95, going full tilt. The case is pretty nice as well. By pretty nice, I mean it looks like human hands actually managed to hammer and shape "sex" into a 4u rackmount case. I like the case. A lot.
We decided to name the server after a mythical beast from the real world. I present to you "chucknorris".
For you people who like screenshots and numbers, go check the thread.
P-card is in, server will be purchased soon
January 25, 15:14 | failure | news
Today our purchase card came in and we're in position to order the parts for the new GOSU game server at any time now. I expect ordering to be finished by some point on Friday, leading to assembly and configuration next week. If you'd like to come over and help check us out at GOSU House.
I'll keep the site posted with the damage after ordering is finished. It should be a beast.

January 3, 13:16 | failure | news
All DNS issues should be resolved now. Thanks go to Raikou looking our registrar information and adjusting our DNS server listing, and to Paul down at Provalue.Net for DNSing www.osugamers.com for us. If there are anymore DNS problems tell me or Raikou about it and we'll look into it.
The Fifth Column is hosting their monthly lan, Shag, down in Shawnee this weekend (Saturday, January 7th 2006). I'm going to try to make it. If you are interested, need a ride, or have any other questions post on either our boards or theirs. The Fifth Column can be found at http://thefifthcolumn.net.
Classes resume on January 9th, our first meeting of the semester will be January 10th in the KD Mezzanine like last semester. We're still trying to get a room reserved for meetings but I think that our request may have been lost at this point. Sigh.
Looking furthur into the future, our first lan of the new year will be January 21st. More info on this coming soon.
dns sketchy! no meetings till january!
December 1, 15:48 | failure | news
So lately DNS has been a bit flaky, and I'm honestly not sure why. From time to time www.osugamers.com will just vanish, while og.cs.okstate.edu still works properly. It's enough to drive a man crazy. If you find for some reason the former doesn't work, use the latter. It won't kill you, I promise.
We've (I've) decided to cancel GOSU meetings until next semester since every lan in Oklahoma is pretty much closed up till then. There are also a few of us who have classwork and whatnot to think about. I mean, I know you all have classwork, but there are a few of us who actually think about it.
So anyway, we'll be seein' ya'll first week of the spring semester in the usual place and time, unless we manage another room by then.
Etto...Tsugiwa...
November 21, 17:41 | Raikou | news
Well, for those that missed Shelanigans, it was a blast. We had some stellar performances in both our Quake 4 (1v1 and CTF) and Soul Caliber 3 tournaments.
As for what's next, GOSU has no plans for December, as everyone will be busy with finals/holidays/etc. We'll be back in late January (the 21st if memory serves), and it's going to be awesome. We should have our server by then, so expect a better/faster tournament setup.
In the mean time, we still have our usual things. Meetings will likely be held till Christmas break begins, and will resume afterwards. We always have our Quake 4 server running, and of course there's the forums for your daily allowance of shens. Oh, and hit up #zomg at irc.genmay.net for some irc idling fun. So there's no reason to slack off just cause there's no event next month.

As you may have noticed, we now have a working image gallery over on the right there, in the "Gallery" department. If for some reason you're too lazy to look over there, then go here: Image Gallery
Members may submit pictures, while Officers can do more special things. We'll be posting photos of our events, and screenshots of some in-game shenanigans, which are many I assure you. And while it passed our QA process with flying colors, if you do find an error please pass it along to an officer.
So get to it, the images await! Ja.
The Gamers of OSU present "Shelanigans" Oct 22nd - Student Union!
October 17, 06:34 | failure | news
Ok, it's about that time kids. We've got everything tacked down for the next Shelanigans except for the exact format of the tournament. It looks like Wednesday morning will tell us that when Quake 4 drops. Anyway, look at the boards for more info on the specifics regarding the tournament and anything else last minute.
That being said, here's the official news release below.

OMFG QUAKE 4 GONE GOLD, RELEASE OCT 18
October 3, 20:48 | failure | news
:breathe:
Ok, that being said the next Shelanigans has officially been moved to October 22nd.
I would expect the tournament to be some form of Quake 4. Probably a 1v1 tournament, if I get my way.
I'll post more when I know exactly whats going on, but for now I have to work on the new GOSU House router, cause ya know, we're gonna need good pings right.
Shelanigans, woo.
September 25, 15:47 | failure | news
Well, that was nice.
It's good to be lanning again, after our 5 month break for summer. For the most part everything went fairly smoothly. Aside from throwing 2 breakers, due to the peculiar wiring in the Parker Hall Basement and having a pizza stolen, all was well with the lan. I'm sure whoever stole my pizza will get some form of karmic retribution though. Maybe their house will burn down or something. Although, to have an event of that scale, with hardware that expensive, and only lose a single large pepperoni pizza isn't too bad I guess. The generosity of the members of GOSU saved the day however, and I was able to eat pizza and let my ire subside.
We had one fairly well run pickup tournament at this Shelanigans. Team GOSU consisting of gosu.killer-kev, gosu.failure, and gosu.awaken beat out 5][ Team A in the finals by a margin of 5-0 in 3v3 Quake 3 CTF on q3ctf1. We're looking forward to playing 5][ again at their lan on October 8th.
The project and the haxbox running on it seemed to work out pretty well. Some Burnout Revenge got played, but it seemed to be pretty random really. We even had one crazy bastard attempt to speed run The Legend of Zelda in under 2 hours. He made it to Ganon in 1 hr, 55 minutes but died, just short of beating him. Beaten, but undeterred, he pressed on, finishing the game in barely over 2 hours. Tim, whoever you were (no one caught his last name), GOSU salutes you.
Next lan is tentatively scheduled for Oct 15th. Look for more announcements soon.
Shelanigans, September 24, Parker Hall
September 13, 22:34 | failure | news
Our first lan of the semester is all scheduled and ready to go it seems. Some of you may remember that our lan series was called "Frag Limit" last year. We've opted to change up the name of the lan each year. This year we're going with "Shelanigans", an obvious play on one of our favorite words, shenanigans. Below is the official 'press release' as it were.
The Gamers of OSU present "Shelanigans" beginning Saturday, September 24th at 10:00 a.m and running all through the night. Shelanigans will be held in the Parker Hall basement on OSU's campus located in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Shelanigans is the premiere PC and Console gaming event at OSU. There will be a BYOC (bring your own computer) LAN for PC gaming as well as multiple consoles present.
Featured at this event will be Burnout Revenge for the XBOX as well as other current console titles.
At Shelanigans we'll be playing current PC titles such as Counter-Strike: Source, Half Life 2 Deathmatch, Unreal Tournament 2k4, Doom 3, Battlefield 2, Quake 3, and much more. For the BYOC lan please bring your rig and headphones only. No speakers, no outside network cables. Power strips will be provided for the event.
Entry fee for the LAN is 5$ at the door (free for current Gamers of OSU members).

welcome back gamers, omg this site works now
September 1, 21:22 | failure | news
Hey, is this thing on?
I kid, I kid. It appears as if the GOSU web server is back up and running. Although, at the time of this post it isn't DNS'd yet, but it should be totally ready to go soon. The Gamers of OSU would like to extend our gratitude to the Computer Science department for hosting our magnificent (read: sketchy) web server. Look for some changes to the site design soon. Also, since the server has been moved to a new hosting location some of our code might be a bit 'wonky'. If you encounter anything strange let an officer know, if you would.
The above being said, I'd like to welcome any new visitors to the site. Take a look around. Feel free to post in our forums. I'd also like to welcome back all of our old members. My apologies for having the site down so long, but I really had no where to host it.
In other news, officers for Fall 2005 have been elected. I, Brian "failure" Bickell, will be returning for yet another term as President. Kevin "Killer-Kev" Williams is the new vice president. Blake "Raikou" Anderton has returned to manage what little money we have as treasurer. Meagan "skylar" Lemons will handle spamming everyone as the GOSU secretary.
We'll be collecting dues as soon as possible to work on our first lan for the semester which will likely be held on September 24th. We'll post more information as it is available.

Frag Limit April 8th and 9th
March 30, 12:04 | skylar | news
Yes, the rumors are true...
*Drum roll*
We're having a lan! It's been a long time in the making, but we've finally gotten one together. Here's the official press release:
The Gamers of OSU present "Frag Limit" from Friday, April 8th at 5:00 p.m. to Saturday, April 9th at noon in the Parker first floor living room. The lan is BYOC and admission is $5 at the door with a PC. There will be lots of free stuff, including drinks, and plenty of PC and console gaming. For more information, contact brian@osugamers.com or visit www.osugamers.com
Right, so, that's our story, and we'll do everything we can to stick to it. Hope to see everyone there ^_^
Ninja Edit by failure: We're shortening the hours to 5pm-noon now because of officers getting wrecked by class work. Classes, always ruining my fun.

For all you member type people, we need your feedback on something. There's a forum poll going, and we'd like your vote ASAP.
It's in the member's section, thanks to drama. <3
Ja!
reports of our demise are greatly exaggerated
February 23, 08:58 | failure | news
So, I have a whole list of reasons why we haven't had a lan yet this semester but I'm going to summarize those reasons with the following statement.
All the plans we made during the winter break managed to fall through and we're left without a place to have a lan.
Tentatively we're trying to lan on March 26th but we're still working on finding a place that meets our needs. We've also had some problems with ITD, the campus organization that handles networking issues. Basically, they don't want us using their network for our events. I find this fairly unreasonable, as our groups constituency mostly consists of students who pay for the network. But I digress.
There will be another lan soon, really.
ganbarou!
January 10, 10:12 | Raikou | news
Spring Semester begins today, thus GOSU must activate like a Giant Robot: automatically and with giant voipy lasers. While last semester we decided not to have weekly meetings, we still expect you all to check the main page (here) and the forums regularly. Officers will have meetings, though, so expect a post in the OC sometime soon about that.
Dues are also....due....right. Same as last semester - $20. You can give it to any officer, and they'll get it to me. failure and I are in 407 Suite A, if that helps. Dues are very critical this semester, since we'll be filling for University funding and campus frowns on fuzzy numbers. The funding applications due the 21st, so dues by then would be fantastic. And by fantastic, I mean GOSU would like to not have to send out ninja squads on the 22nd :D
Small housekeeping note, our constitution states that only OSU students can be officers. As you know, though, non-OSU students can still be members. munkey, our secretary, has transfered and so his post has been thrust upon skylar. So don't bug munkey anymore about secretarial things...
Also if anyone has a typewriter, that would be glorious....Ja.
Winding down for the semester
December 16, 11:35 | failure | news
Well, as you all probably know we're in the middle of finals week, and if you didn't know that, you're sort of screwed.
Not much will be going on with GOSU till January I imagine as some will be away with the break. Holidays also make it a pain to schedule anything. A lot of us are playing World of Warcraft these days so if that's something that interests you feel free to jump on any of our WoW posts. I believe we're all set to move the webserver and the DNS server to somewhere in MSCS in January. This should help clear up any of the IP shenanigans the site has.
If you're on campus over the break and want some gaming feel free to look up any of the officers, I know we'll be playing stuff constantly. But as an organization we don't have anything planned until probably January 29th.
Also, if you weren't at the last meeting this semester, it's been decided by the officers that we would stop having the weekly organization meetings because they don't really accomplish much anymore. Those meetings were mainly for when we didn't have a website or any other way to talk to a group. The officers will still have regular meetings, so if you have something of concern you want to present, you could attend those.
Anyway, good luck on finals everyone and have a good and game filled winter break.
An End to Another Frag Limit
November 22, 16:23 | failure | news
Another Gamers of OSU event has come to a close and much fun was had by all. It wasn't without its share of problems, which are up for discussion in the members section of the forums, but it also had its good parts. The good outweighed the bad, certainly.
Attendance was way up, with 8 teams competing in Halo 2 and somewhere near 30 at the lan. This was the largest event we've hosted yet.
ClickPow won the 4v4 Halo 2 Tournament. GST15|sexPistol won the UT2k4 1v1 DM Tournament. A pickup team consisting of GST15|sexPistol, Nizo and gosu.Ten Ninja's won CoD TDM. 5v5 Source and UT2k4 CTF had to be cancelled due to time constraints.
I'd like to thank everyone who volunteered to make this thing happen. Of course I'd like to thank our sponsors as well who helped us out significantly.
Thanks for everyone who showed up as well. Not much of an event without you guys. :)
GOSU is now a campus recognized organization
November 17, 20:14 | failure | news
Woo.
Tonight I spoke before the OSU Student Government Association about why we wanted to become a recognized organization. I guess it went fairly well, I didn't hear a single dissenting opinion. Even after questions which ranged from membership to Super Mario Brothers 3, no one wanted to throw us off campus.
That's a good sign I suppose.
In the back of my head I was thinking "Don't tell them that all we do is play video games. They're all gonna laugh at you."
I ended up telling them that all we do is play video games. And they still let us be a recognized organization. Color me puzzled.
The Gamers of OSU present Frag Limit
November 4, 22:24 | failure | news
That's right, we've got our next event scheduled.

Hai!
November 4, 10:53 | Raikou | news
Well, with native GOSU events not right in our face, we've pretty much planned all our stuff into November. We've decided to do our normal small, bi-weekly events, but once or twice a semester go for broke and try to copy b-cubed, which I hear was the mad notes. I would tell you myself, but my head felt like dying...so I slept instead.
BUT! The next morning when I didn't feel as much like death I awoke to play Rome:Total War....and while I was still sick most of the day I don't remember the sickness, only the joy. Since then it has completely consumed me, as brian and munkey can attest to. I rarely discuss anything besides it...in fact I'm doing it here! HA!
RIGHT! so...this weekend is a 5th column LAN, and we encourage ya'll to go and play games! However, don't forget the weekend after! That's FragLimit II, and it's in the exhibit hall, and that means that we really need it better attended that the previous one. If the Latin dance club come in expecting the hall only to turned away by three guys with boxes, I'll fear for my life, as 3 gamers can't possibly hold their flanks against the barbarians....er, crap.
hrm...guess that's enough rabbling...Ja!
Upcoming events
November 4, 10:53 | failure | news
Frag Limit went off more or less without a hitch. It, however, wasn't very well attended. I can sort of understand this, since this was our first serious event of the semester. Our next event that we're attending as a group will be the Bedlam lan down at OU on the 24th of September.
We are still working out rides and other things, so if you are going and can provide a ride down there for some folks and boxes please let us know in the events forum. I know that I, and most of the officers are going for sure. I'll try to track down a van or two, if we get enough interest in going. See the events forum for the details, as usual.
I'll be headed down to Shawnee for a lan put on by the Fifth Column guys on the 2nd of October as well. I think some guys have for sure said they'll be headed down there with me. Same deal as the above event. We'll have to figure out rides. This one is posted under Outside Events.
Looking ahead even farther, we have the Exhibit Room reserved for October 9th for Frag Limit 2. Hopefully we'll get a better turnout on that one. We'll probably start doing advertising sometime soon. As always, hit me or an officer up if you have any questions.
LawnCon, wow.
November 4, 10:52 | failure | news
So LawnCon was ridiculous.
Ridiculously cool that is. Hah, like I'd trash my own event. It was a blast out there meeting people and playing games. Even though I got to play very little since I was trying to keep some semblance of order, it was still cool. Actually, for as much of a mess as it could have been, it turned out to be not so bad of a hassle. The turnout was amazing. We started moving our gear to the lawn at like 8:30 and we were finally playing Mega Man and chugging Mountain Dew at 11:05.
Some of the highlights would have to be the heated Soul Calibur 2 and Marvel vs Capcom 2 matches. Some pretty sharp folks over there playing. I did manage to take down one cheese win with Necrid, but I passed my controller, cause that character is just stupid. The modded xboxes went over rather well, lots of people were around playing old school NES. Actually more NES might have been played on those xboxes than actual xbox games. I think we even ended up with 7 computers for the mini-lan inside the tents.
We packed up at like 5:30 and were completely out by 6:00. There were guys still playing Mega Man until I had to unplug their TV. What a great event. I met a ton of people, and if by chance you contact me and I don't remember you, I apologize. I woke up far too early yesterday, spent too much time and the sun, and met too many people. But that's alright, it was worth it.
Our next event coming up is Frag Limit, our regular lan, which is September 18th. For any information about that, see the events link. We'll be meeting as scheduled Tuesday at 9pm in the Willham Mezzanine. I'll also grab a handful of folks to help me put up the remaining Frag Limit fliers around campus on Monday sometime during the evening.
If you're looking for something to do this weekend, I believe some guys are putting on a small lan in an apartment in Stillwater. There is a post about it in the forums under 'Outside Events'. Check it out.
site launch
November 4, 10:51 | failure | news
Today the official Gamers of Oklahoma State University website launched.
Some of the functionality is fairly limited, but that's mostly because I haven't had time to finish it. I assure you that this is not in fact the finished product.
The semester is started and it's proving to be a busy one already. Right after the GOSU trip to Quakecon 2004 we're putting on LawnCon on the library lawn. LawnCon should help us get the word out about the group though, and it's pretty much the craziest publicity stunt that Brandon and I could come up with. So here we go. I've always been one for extremes. It's tomorrow. Making it go as planned has basically consumed all of my free time for the last week straight. So if I've been short with you, it's because I, along with the rest of the officers are very busy with it.
Speaking of officers, they've been elected for the semester. I, Brian Bickell, will be returning as President of the Gamers. Chad Riedel will be stepping up for us to the position of Vice President. Blake Anderton is making a return to the position of treasurer. David Connell will be trying his hand at GOSU secretary. There are various other position in GOSU that haven't been assigned yet, so once those are finished, I'll post the results.
Aside from LawnCon, we're also putting on our first regularly scheduled lan which we've named Frag Limit. This will be held on September 18th in the Student Union, room 420. We'll start around 7am and who knows when we'll finish up. Should be standard fair for anyone who went to the lans last semester. $5 admission for non-members still applies as we've done nothing but wrack up bills between LawnCon and the last semester.
Looking farther into the future we've got the Bedlam Lan on the 24th of September at Norman. We'll be playing the newly formed Gamers of OU in Unreal Tournament 2004. Matches will be 5v5 Capture the Flag, Onslaught and Team Deathmatch. If you're interested in playing let me know and I'll try to pencil you in for a roster. We're practicing as often as possible right now.
