Sweet. Radio is actually getting hits once again. That's nice to know. Up to a peak of 19 simultaneous listeners currrently. The server is set to handle 200 before it starts dumping.
I promise I'm going to update the music. Really, I mean that.

I finally tracked down the complete Mega Man 1-6 Soundtracks. They're up on the radio now.

Another small version-up for GOSU plugin built and deployed. Made a small enhancement we were thinking of. Basically, the plugin now remembers which song was going to play when the ID interrupted, and goes to that after the ID finishes. Simple :p
failure's happy (or should be, you can't ever really tell), cause now he can DJ without fear of the station ID ninja'ing out his ninja switch. Well, it still ninjas him out, just goes back to what he wanted....bah.

Personally, I don't trust a program without sketch.

...the title says it all. I was able to work some crazy windows shenanery...and got around most our plugin issues. Expect an in-house plugin to be working the station id and ads soon, as its on like Donkey Kong. GOSU > winamp API

I spent hours last night searching all known corners of the Intarweb for a suitable way to intersperse our two "Promos" if you will amongst our vast content. The two promos I speak of are the Frag Limit commercial, and the new station ID track, both brought to you by PostalWorker, who is apparently the "voice of Radio GOSU".
No such suitable way exists, aside from buying massively over featured and over priced software.
Like I'm going to do that.
So anyway, I had the idea that we should just make our own plugin to play the station ID track every so often. Had I known what I was getting into I'd have probably just bought software to do this.
But no, we're programmers. When we can't find tools to do the stupid things we wish to do, well then, we just have to write said tools. But, I digress.
Blake and I downloaded the Winamp SDK today, and I am loathe to say that "thar be dragons there". We have both hit the edge of the map as it were. I'm afraid to go any farther for fear that I might very well fall off into some great abyss of obscure Windows constructs. I could very well be lost amidst a sea undocumented source code for the rest of my life. I do love Radio GOSU, but be reasonable man, undocumented source is a fate I dare say worse than death.
Anyway, while he fights the good fight in the other room, I've decided to bring you folks some more tracks.
